The project consists of the construction of six off-shore Breakwater structures and the truck haul of 1,300,000cy for an average of 4.5 miles of sand material for beach fill from the borrow area located along the northeast shoreline of Wallops Island and placed along the southern area designated beach fill template. This project is in collaboration with the US Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District and NASA Wallops Flight Facility.
